From Udo Kulterman to Renato Meneghetti

Thank you very much for sending me the images of your recent works, they look most intriguing and I wish to be able to earn more about them. Please, let me know when you will have a chance to build them in scale whenever and whereever it will be….

… Thank you very much for your letter and for the invitation to Italy. You are most generous, and I would very much like to come, see your work and discuss it with you…

… Yesterday I finally had a chance to have a look into your fascinating "Insania" and also into a translation of your last letter with your comments on my articles…
… After looking into "Insania" I also consulted again your beautiful catalogue from Bratislava which contains a large amount of information…
… I appreciate what you said about Kant and Goethe, but would wish that one day we could enter into a more detailed discussion, as these areas continiously interest me much…

… It was a wonderful surprise to have your letter and the material of your work, the results of "operating artfully for over fifty years". I very much enjoyed the video and the coins with the revealing images It is a splendid collection and much of it was unknown to me. The Bratislava catalogue looks excellent and I can gratulate you to it …
… I am looking forward to meeting you on one of my next trips to Italy and will write in advance…

… The book arrived yesterday and I wish to thank you very much for sending it to me. I admire the
publication which gives a most complex and fascinating documentastion of your work. Gillo Dorfles, as so often before, did an excellent job.
Enclosed is a small piece about Kant which you may like to look into.

I feel honored that you consider me as the curator of your exhibition in 2006 and also ask me to write a text for the catalogue… I would very much like to learn more about the project, also learn more from my side about your work,…. In your biographical notes I saw the names of many distinguished art historians who I admire in their judgment (especially Gillo Dorfles).

… Of course I would be happy to come to Rome for the special occasion….

2004, Udo Kulterman
